After the success of last year’s The Resty Lagare Charity Fashion Show, One Closet (a fashion social enterprise that encourages sharing) will once again stage another big charity fashion event.
The event is set on May 20, 2020 at The Pavilion Watergate Hotel, Butuan City with a title “The Balangay Fashion Show”.
If you were mesmerized by One Closet’s fashion show last year expect to be stunned once again. If you didn’t make it last year, have your chance to experience it this time.
The Balangay Fashion Show will be an exceptional event capable of attention globally. It is an excellent platform especially for fashion designers from Butuan and Agusan del Norte to showcase their creativity, sharing the stage with the best in the fashion industry both local and global.
It will be a fusion of fashion, art and innovative products merging fashion designers who are both making the limelight worldwide and emerging locally, mind-blowing innovation and elegance of recognized fashion brands and artists exhibiting sophisticated works and talents.
Taking part in the fashion show are remarkable names in the Philippine and global fashion arena with Butuanon or Agusanon roots: Resty Lagare, Edgar Buyan, Benjie Manuel and Jerrick Macasocol. Famous Mindanao designers Erwin Lee Tan and Mac Taug will be present as well.
Leading social entrepreneurs in the country Zarah Juan, Victor Baguilat Jr. and Steffy de Mylo will also be joining the charity event.
The show will also highlight the artworks of KWADRADO, a local visual arts group.
The Balangay Charity Fashion Show’s mission is to raise funds for the two shelters for disadvantaged youth, Gesu Eucaristico Children’s Inc. and Balay Silongan.
