The Caraga Police Office is now open to hire 100 new members to fill the 2021 attrition quota in the region.

“PRO13’s recruitment will be based on qualifications and not on palakasan or padrino system because we will choose only the best for the PNP and for the Filipino people,” Caraga regional police director Brig. Gen. Romeo Caramat, Jr. said in a statement released Tuesday, as he called on “able-bodied” Filipinos, aged to 21 to 30, to join the police force.

Caramat explained the attrition recruitment quota is intended to replenish personnel loss due to retirement, death or separation from the police service.

Applications can now be filed at police regional office at Camp Rafael Rodriguez in the regional capital Butuan City, Caramat said.

“These will be done in stages and the results will be carefully evaluated by our competent selection and recruitment board,” he said. CLC
