“I would certainly get four to bring in Manila and give the rest to friends,” exclaims Jims Abanero, a Butuanon visiting.

There’s also a charming table Santa Claus with a Manobo-inspired headgear with a warm smile. In totality, you own a lasting Mindanaoan-inspired art work.

He has built a name for exclusive, made-to-order sculptures  like trophies, festival and wedding souvenir pieces. His clients include public and private institutions and individuals based in the city, the region and abroad.

On the first week of December, he has an exhibit at the Robinson’s with other acclaimed Mindanao artists Anoy Catague and Bada Torralba. This is certainly an explosive show to watch.
