COVID-19 cases in Caraga breach 10K mark

Caraga on Friday, April 30, breached the 10,000-mark in its cumulative number of confirmed coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases.

In its latest case bulletin, the Department of Health (DOH) in Caraga said that an increase of 50 cases reported Friday brought the number of cases to 10,042.

Of the 50 fresh cases, 27 are from the Dinagat Islands province, 11 from Butuan City, nine from Agusan del Sur, two from Bayugan City and one from Surigao City.

The number of recoveries in Caraga, on the other hand, has already reached 8,804 as it recorded 82 more on Friday.

No new deaths were also recorded on Friday, with the number of deaths remaining at 351, according to the DOH Caraga’s daily Covid-19 case bulletin.

Caraga currently has 887active cases. Of the active cases, 96.3 percent are classified as mild and asymptomatic. CLC
