Police nabbed 11 suspected drug pushers in massive police operations in different areas of Caraga region last week, police said.
Chief Supt. Noli Romana, Caraga police director said the operations, either a buy-bust or an implementation of a search warrant, resulted in the confiscation of 30 plastic sachets of suspected shabu (crystal meth) weighing 16 grams and worth P190,000 in street value.
In Agusan del Sur, the police arrested Nande Conde, who yielded 15 sachets of suspected shabu and five packs of Marijuana Dried Leaves valued at P2,750, in an operation in Barangay Poblacion, Trento town.
In Agusan del Norte, the police arrested a suspect identified as Lioncio Flores in Barangay Victory, Tubay town and recovered from him 15 sachets of suspected shabu and five sticks of Marijuana .
Romana applauded the relentless efforts of his men, saying “the PNP Caraga, with partner agencies will continuously conduct pro-active measures and intensify its effort to wipe out all forms of illegal drug activities for a drug-free Caraga.”
The arrested drug suspects were now under their custody and charges for violation of the anti-drugs law were being prepared against them, he said. By CLC
