Caraga records 93 COVID-19 recoveries, 5 deaths

The Department of Health (DOH) in Caraga on Sunday logged a total of 93 recoveries from COVID-19, bringing the region’s total to 13,843.

In a bulletin released Monday, DOH Caraga said that these new recoveries reduced the active COVID-19 cases in the region to 3,726.

Caraga’s total number of recovered patients from COVID-19 is now at 13,843.

The health department also recorded 284 new infections on Sunday, boosting the total number of cases to 18,095.

Meanwhile, five COVID-19 patients have succumbed to the deadly respiratory disease, raising the death toll to 526 as of June 13.

No details were made available on the latest fatalities.

The DOH renewed its call to the public to be more vigilant as the spike in the COVID-19 cases continued due to community transmission and non-compliance to minimum health protocols, like the wearing of face masks. CLC
