Active COVID-19 cases down to 959 as DOH Caraga records 76 new recoveries

The region’s active COVID-19 cases further went down to 959 as of Monday, as the Department of Health (DOH) in Caraga reported 76 new recoveries.

The newly healed patients brought the total recovery count in the region to 8,477, DOH Caraga tracker for April 26 showed.

Aside from this, the DOH Caraga also recorded nine new infections, which is relatively lower compared to the previous days where new cases went past the 100 mark. 

Of the nine cases, three cases were logged in Agusan del Sur, two each in Agusan del Norte and Bislig City and one each in the cities of Butuan and Cabadbaran.

DOH tracker indicated that it has logged 9,787cumulative cases in the region since March last year.

DOH Caraga added that there were four new fatalities, bringing the total deaths to 351. CLC
