Accused panty thief arrested in Bayugan

Officials say a Bayugan man has been arrested for attempted rape and allegedly stealing women’s underwear.

Supt. Romeo A. Villalobos, Bayugan City police director identified the suspect as Ramil Sumeňa Pardillo, alias Amec, married and a resident of Barangay Bucac.

Villalobos said Pardillo was arrested in a pursuit operation after a teenage girl reported and asked for police assistance after she was allegedly nearly raped by Pardillo after she caught him stealing her underwear on Monday.

Tracker teams formed to hunt for Pardillo arrested the suspect in his house at Purok 6, Barangay Bucac Tuesday evening.

After his arrest, Villalobos said Pardillo’s other victims, who accused the suspect of stealing their undies surface.

Arresting cops also seized from the possession of Pardillo some 1.5 grams of suspected shabu estimated to worth P18,000.00, according to Villalobos.

Pardillo is now facing charges of attempted rape, robbery and violations of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
