At least 539 police officers received promotions in ceremonies held in the Caraga Region Police Office headquarters in Camp Rafael Rodriguez in Butuan City on Monday.
The PNP said the newly-promoted cops included 58 Police Commissioned Officers (PCO) and 481 Police Non-Commissioned Office (PNCO) as part of the regular promotion program.
Caraga police chief Noli Romana encouraged the newly promoted law enforcers to set a good example to the people and be role models of competence, discipline, excellence and professionalism in the police force.
Romana said the observance of mass promotion was to give honor and recognition to PNP uniformed personnel as well as to uplift the morale of the police force.
“Our promotion comes from God and we are answerable to Him for the services we give to the public. I am looking forward also that you will become good role models of competence, discipline, excellence and professionalism in the police force,” Romana said. By GD Photo courtesy of Caraga Pulis
