GMRC. Is this something like the millennials favorite expression, OMG? I don’t know. It’s an alien thing for me, for all of us, young and old, mostly for the young, immature and disrespectful. But also for people who hold political positions and power.
These kinds of people live in another planet. It is called no manners, act and talk like the lowest animals in the Milky Way. OMG, they are everywhere and some of them are popular with the “masa” who are mostly ignorant and pusher people.
If they don’t go to school their intellectual ability—if they have one, is crude and yet, they like to think they are sharp-minded and civil. GMRC. Let’s spell it out for them. Good manners and right conduct. Get it. Please be sure you have it.
A long time ago, GMRC subject was taught in elementary to enhance civility, social skills and manners of Filipino youth. And our dear parents started it at home and molded us, sometimes strictly and most times compassionately. Each has its own style and when we become parents ourselves we applied it believing the world needs it.
But today, I don’t know if it’s practiced because we are all bombarded with all kinds of influence, especially the media with its several platforms. OMG! we need more GMRC even more today. What say you?
