Small Town Lottery (STL) operations in Butuan City and Agusan del Norte, have resumed.

This after, the Provident Marketing and Mobile Enterprises Inc., the STL operator has complied with the stringent conditions set by the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) for the authorized agent corporations (AACs) to reopen.

Bella Buit, manager of the Provident Marketing and Mobile Enterprises Inc., said that they have resumed operation on Sunday (Sept. 15) after receiving the authorization from PCSO, after more than one month halt in STL operations that started on July 27.

Buit said the STL corporation has complied with the conditions of their agency agreement—deposit of cash bond, another bond equivalent to three months of the PCSO’s share in guaranteed minimum monthly retail receipts (GMMRRs).

Duterte ordered all gaming activities of PCSO stopped on July 26 amid the alleged “massive corruption” in the agency.

In Caraga, only Butuan City, Agusan del Norte and Agusan del Sur were allowed by PCSO to resume their STL operation. By CLC
