Lawyer Oliver Bulang is seeking a second term at the Cabadbaran City Council under the banner of Team Judy Amante-Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban).
Bulang said he wants to get reelected to push for more programs that will improve the city’s business environment and attract more investments.
“If re-elected, I will continue to focus my legislative work to promote the investment climate of Cabadbaran City while at the same time improving the lives of ordinary Cabadbaranons through livelihood opportunities,” Bulang said.
His track record at the Council will help him win the elections next month, Bulang added.
Bulang, who is the current majority floor leader of the Cabadbaran City Council is the author of crucial ordinances. Foremost of which are the ordinances providing free birth registration for Cabadbaran’s indigents, free issuance of police clearance to job applicants, solo parents welfare benefits, financial grant for small-time businesses, and tax holiday for livelihood programs, among others.
Bulang was Cabadbaran’s former city legal officer. He obtained his pre-law degree at the University of the Philippines (Iloilo City).
He took his law at Father Saturnino Urios University College of Law and graduated cum laude. As the editor in chief of the FSUU Law Journal, he was also active in legal research during his time, earning him the St. Thomas Moore Scholarship Award.
