Trust Cabadbaranons’ creative spirit to transform their City Hall into an impressive Christmas village in itself.
Every hallways leading to the offices and nearly all nooks and corners and the offices themselves are embellished with the finest touch that reflect excellent artistic handling. There’s never a dull and empty space.
With no less than the charming and down-to-earth lady mayor, Katrina Mortola and the respective department and office heads welcoming and proudly showing us guests their varied creative accomplishments.
Office staff and employees greeted us with smiles and singing Christmas songs, spreading merriment in the air. Public servants of Cabadbaran sure know how to celebrate and express the meaning of Lord Jesus Christ’s birth.
If there was a race to the best Christmas tree, the run-away winner to me would be at the city mayor’s office, which sparkled fresh, light and hopeful. Isn’t that what Christmas is all about? Also worth mentioning in terms of overall decoration and concept is the Cabadbaran civil registrar’s office, looking sophisticate and classy.
Also, the Cabadbaran assessor’s office with its serious but playful fireplace, and the hallways leading to the human resource, tourism, community affairs offices and the Sanggunian Panlungsod (city council) that are magical in their own right.
Cabadbaran constituents must be mesmerized and proud.
