The newly installed police director of Butuan City has implemented a “massive revamp” in the organization.

Col. Canilo Fuentes said the revamp covers positions in the Butuan City Police Office (BCPO) headquarters and at station levels.

The intelligence branch of BCPO is now headed by Lt. Col. Rommel Villamor. Lt. Col. Lorenzo Trajano is the deputy chief for administration.

Lt. Col. Randy Amaro, former chief of Surigao City police station, took over as deputy director for Operations.

Maj. Eunice Gonzaga is the new chief of police station 1, replacing Capt. Silang.

Silang was named the new intelligence division chief.

Maj. Ephraim Detuya, former operation officer of the Butuan police, now heads the BCPO–Station 2.

Police station 3 has Capt. Emmerson Alipit as its new chief.

Alipit was former Butuan police spokesperson.

Fuentes named Lt. Abel Dulawan as the new chief of the BCPO Public Information Office (PIO).

He said rotation of assignments is part of the changes he wanted to implement that will also give junior police officials the chance to handle police units or police stations. By CLC
