Bislig reports new COVID-19 case after going zero infection

A new case of COVID-19 was reported in Bislig City, Surigao del Sur after its slate had been wiped clean with the recovery of eight patients .

In a 9:30 p.m., Monday report, the Bislig Public Information Office, said the new patient was a 26-year-old male returning overseas Filipino worker who arrived in the city on July 12.

The unidentified patient who is suffering from a cold and not exhibiting other symptoms, was isolated and remains under strict monitoring, it said.

Including the new case, Bislig has reported nine COVID-19 cases since the pandemic broke out. However, eight of the patients had recovered. CLC
