A magnitude 4.2 earthquake rocked the municipality of Agusan del Sur on Tuesday, the Philippine Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported.
The earthquake’s epicenter was found 9 kilometers northeast of the municipality of La Paz. Phivolcs said it was tectonic in origin.
The quake, having a depth of 8 kilometers, was reported to be Intensity II in La Paz.
The tremor was not expected to cause any damage to property, but aftershocks are likely to happen, Phivolcs said. By CLC
